Dr. Stacey is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, executive coach and trainer. As a Clinical Psychologist she has wide ranging skills and expertise in the areas of trauma, anxiety, stress, and adjustment issues in adults and children. She has extensive experience in the training and supervision of therapists in psychodynamic psychotherapy and trauma work. Dr. Stacey was a board member of the South African Institute of Traumatic Stress Studies (SAITS) and has a lengthy association with the the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR). She participated as an expert panel member in the development of the CSVR intervention model for torture survivors (2012 -2013). Stacey has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology (Cum Laude) and a PhD in the area of stress, goals and emotion. She is registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist. She worked as an academic at the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg) for twelve years and has practiced privately as a Clinical Psychologist since 1997 and extended her work into the corporate environment from 2009.
In the corporate setting Dr. Stacey has wide-ranging executive coaching and training experience having provided services to individuals and groups in governmental, public and commercial sectors and has coached clients from managerial to executive level. She was the lead coach for the SARS National Executive Coaching Program and played a key role in the conceptualization and implementation of this program. Stacey completed the ICF accredited Orion Business Solutions Executive Coach training and the ORSC series in systems-based coaching. She has published articles in academic journals and has a wide skills base and depth of experience and knowledge that she draws on in her professional roles. She offers exceptional psychological and coaching knowledge and an awareness and understanding of organizations and business processes.
